Site Statistics
Although it's not usually first on their list, many website owners get around to
wanting to know how much traffice their site generates. How many visitors do we have?
There are many ways to do statistics. The easiest and cheapest way would be to put a
counter on your web page. We don't recommend that, they tend to lower the professionalism of
a site, giving it a cheezy look.
Most web hosts will also give you (for free) access to the logs that your site generates. Website logs
have a ton of information, but are too hard to read without a tool. There are several good "Log Analyzer"
packages available. One of the best that we are aware of is Analog.
