Building Links

According to most experts, building links to your site can help it's placement in the search engines
tremendously. There are two types of links:
- Recriprocal Links: When you link to another site from your site, and that site links back to you. This has value,
but is limited.
- Inbound Links: When another site links to you, but you don't link back. For example, this site has a 'Products
We Recommend' section. In that section, we link to several worthwhile products that we recommend.
Obviously, those companies do not link back to 4Penny.net. This link increases the popularity of their
site in the search engine rankings somewhat.

that we use frequently to see how may inbound links we have to our sites. See? I just did it again...
Write Articles
An execllent way to generate links to your site is to be an expert on something (you probably already are, in
your chosen profession) and to get on the internet and write about it. Where? Wherever people like you gather.
For techs like us, there are lots of sites that accept articles and we send them as many as they'll take. Of
course, we put links to our site in those articles.
Here is one of my favorite articles, I give this speach to
everyone.
Most professionals have a speach or two that they give to their clients. Doctors? - don't smoke. Real Estate
Agents? Location, location, location. Insurance Agents? - you get the point. Write it down, put it on
the internet, link back to your site. If you just can't find a place to post to, go to
www.blogger.com and put it there.

By the way, notice that all the links on this page open up new pages. That way you don't loose the 4Penny site
